 O Ringlite Mini é um poderoso iluminador para câmara, produzido pela empresa californiana Litepanels, pioneira em
sistemas de iluminação portáteis baseados em LED para cinema e
televisão.
Disponível em Portugal através da Avitel, o Ringlite Mini, tem apenas 26,7cm de diâmetro, 5,1cm de espessura, e 1,6Kg de peso. A fonte de luz são potentes LED's, montados num anel concêntrico, divididos em
três secções activáveis pelo utilizador, conforme a intensidade de iluminação
pretendida. Cada uma destas secções é controlada por um circuito
independente ajustável, com o respectivo controlo colocado na parte de trás do anel, facilmente acessível ao operador.
Tal como outras luminárias da Litepanels, o Ringlite Mini
permite o ajuste da intensidade luminosa entre 0 e 100%, sem variações de cor. A unidade pode ainda ser controlada remotamente.
Completamente
isenta de flicker e, não gerando calor, pode ser
utilizada confortavelmente muito perto do rosto de um actor ou
apresentador, sendo ideal para utilização em grandes planos, como uma fonte de luz soft direccional.
O anel de montagem do Ringlite Mini foi desenhado para ser
instalado em diferentes modelos de camcorders compactas DV e HDV,
podendo ser instalado com um adaptador para a placa de câmara ou
directamente sobre a objectiva. Neste último caso é possível instalar
um porta-filtros para filtros de vidro 3x3, 4x4, 4x5,65 e 4x6. Em
câmaras de maior formato e objectivas de maior dimensão, o Ringlite
Mini pode ser complementado com um suporte de filtros ajustado de forma
tradicional como um matte-box.
Esta fonte de luz LED consome apenas 3,5 amperes (40 watts @12V
DC), sendo a alimentação gerada por um adaptador opcional externo
110-220V AC ou ligado através de um cabo XLR a fontes de bateria
convencionais de 9 a 30V DC. O Ringlite Mini vem acompanhado por uma
mala de transporte que contém também um conjunto de 8 filtros de
conversão e difusão intercambiáveis para maior controlo da imagem. Os
produtos da Litepanels têm distribuição em Portugal, através da Avitel.

Power Efficient
This ultra-efficient LED light source draws just 3.5 amps (40W @12VDC).
Power is provided by an external 100-240VAC international AC adapter.
Equipped with an XLR power connector cable, the unit can be run off of
12-30VDC battery sources such as the Litepanels Backpack PowerCell.
Camera Friendly
Ringlite Mini offers 3
easy ways to interface popular cameras. The first is the Camera Base
Plate Adapter Bracket (included), which attaches the Ringlite Mini to
the bottom of the camera. Optional methods include a Chrosziel adapter
plate or Petroff L bracket for quick release. For larger camera and
lens systems, a combination Mini Rod/Arri film rod mounting bracket
(15mm) is available.

smaller version of the Ringlite Cinema. Measuring 10.5" in diameter,
just 2" thick, and weighing approximately 3.5 lbs., Ringlite Mini
provides the same luxurious level of luminous, soft, directional output
in a cost- effective, versatile package. This ultra-low profile,
lightweight professional lighting tool is equally at home on or off
camera, mounted on a stand, the wall, or elsewhere.
Three Channels Minimal Shift when Dimming
The
Ringlite Mini employs powerful LEDs laid out in a tightly plotted grid.
Lighting is divided into three separate user selectable segments
(bottom, middle, top). A separate, master dimmer circuit controls
channels of output. On the back of the unit, four easy-to-reach toggle
switches regulate power and control upper, center, and lower
illumination.
An ergonomic integrated control knob allows for instant dimming
from 100%-0 with minimal shift in color. Plus, Ringlite Mini offers
remote dimming capability. Completely flicker and heat-free, the system
can be moved in comfortably close to a subject, for unmatched soft,
wrap-around light. A set of 7 interchangeable conversion and diffusion
filters is available.
